Yup that’s right. Time to sell a ton of my otome merch as I feel they deserve better hands than just me storing them in my closet. Otome games will always have a special place in my heart, but I can feel my love for them dwindling. So I’m sure some of you will appreciate them more than I do 🙂
I recently played Sakuya by Tetrascope and really enjoyed it! I just wanted to spill some of my immediate thoughts, so this will be a quick review of the game. Heads up, there will be SPOILERS!

P.S. I finally had the chance to play Fata Morgana: Dreams of the Revenants on PS Vita! I must say the Reincarnation chapter did not disappoint. My heart was satisfied at the conclusion of this beautiful series. There are reviews of it online already, so I probably won’t make another post on it. Just know that I LOVED it and highly recommend the game to any fatamoru fan for all the bonus content it has. Anyways, back to what I was saying:

Welp it’s been a couple years amigos, but I’m back to this little blog. With the whole COVID situation, I’ve gotten a lot more free time and it’s been nice to catch up with some visual novels and otoge. Out of the ones I’ve played recently, Koezaru wa Akai Hana’s FD was the only one that didn’t get much English coverage. So I thought what the heck, I’ll liveblog/summarize this game for reference and hopefully it could be of use to someone else too! Please note this is an R-18 game, but I won’t be posting any R-18 CGs.

The English localization of the fandisk for the visual novel that stole my heart officially released on May 17, 2018. And boy, I couldn’t hold myself back from binging it after the 2 year wait.
A Requiem for Innocence is a must for any Fata Morgana fan out of there. You can buy it from MangaGamer here or on Steam here.
This is a SPOILER review for both the main game and Requiem itself. I also highly recommend that the main game be played before even touching Requiem in order to get all the references and true feel of the story.

Well this game was a long ride! Considering my disappointment with BWS (a favourite in the otome fandom), I was hesitant in setting my expectations too high with StS (another acclaimed otoge). And what a pleasant surprise.
I’ll be going over summaries of each chapter (well more like highlight my fave key moments). I’ve also included translated lines/scenes I found most memorable (pls correct me if I made a mistake oops). Sprinkled in between, I’ll discuss some of my thoughts/interpretations, as well as questions because I need clarification lol. To be honest, I’m not really sure what this post can be called, but you could say it’s a mix of the above?
